Call for Nominations for the Distinguished Scholar Award (2020-2021)

The Distinguished Scholar Award Committee of the Arkansas Political Science Association (ArkPSA) is accepting nominations for the award for 2020-2021.

Any current (dues-paying) member of the Association may nominate one or more current or past members of the Association for the award.  As stated in the guidelines, a nominee must have an exemplary teaching, scholarship, and/or service record in the areas of political science, public administration, or public policy, including at least ten years in the state of Arkansas.

A nomination should include a nomination letter identifying the name of the nominee and a summary of the nominee’s contributions in teaching, scholarship, and/or service in the areas mentioned above.  A nomination should include a copy of the nominee’s curriculum vitae (CV).

The nomination letter and CV should be submitted by email or mail to the chairperson of the committee by September 30th.
