ArkPSA seeks volunteers to fill the officer roles of Treasurer (starting in 2021) and Secretary (starting in 2022). Potential Secretary or Treasurer candidate need to: a) be elected at the ArkPSA business meeting; b) be full-time or contingent faculty at a college or university; c) be a member in good standing in the association; d) attend ArkPSA meetings and fulfill various duties assigned to the office. The Treasurer and Secretary can be reelected any number of times to the position per the ArkPSA Constitution and Bylaws, but the association has an institutional norm to not have either office held for more than five consecutive years. Interested individuals should contact the current Treasurer (Mike Rogers, ATU, mrogers6@atu.edu) or current Secretary (Matt Evans, NWACC, mevans8@nwacc.edu) about each respective position. Rogers will train and advise any Treasurer candidate, and Evans will train and advise any Secretary candidate.
